Landed / DDP
Bacteriostatic water with a DDP-style landed plan
A factory-gate unit price still leaves freight, clearance, and the delivery door open. If you want those on our side of the quote, say DDP — and name the real address, not “USA.”
DDP means we are planning delivery to a named place with duties handled under the term we agree, instead of handing you a carton at our gate. It is not a magic word that removes every customs question. Your receiving site still has to be a real door with a phone that answers the courier.
Name the door
“DDP to the US” is not a lane. City, suite, and a contact who can sign change both price and the calendar. Send the address when you have it; a city is enough to start a range.
EXW and FOB are different jobs
If your team already runs import, EXW or FOB can be rational. If you do not want a customs workflow for this SKU, ask for DDP and compare that landed number — not the factory number — to a domestic cost.
Lost goods sit in the same term
A cheap EXW quote with undefined transit risk is not comparable to a DDP plan that includes agreed loss coverage. Put both in one thread.
DDP brief
- Named destination (country, city, and door if ready)
- Quantity band and vial size
- Whether you want us to own clearance or only compare it to FOB
- Hard door date or a planning window

FAQ
Do you quote bacteriostatic water DDP?
Yes, when you name a destination and a quantity band. We build the landed plan around that route instead of leaving freight open.
Is DDP always cheaper?
No. It is often simpler for buyers who do not staff customs. Compare the landed figure to your real alternative, not to an EXW unit price.
What if the shipment is lost under DDP?
Under the terms agreed for the order, we provide full compensation coverage for lost goods. Confirm that language before you lock the PO.
