Medical glass vial basics — what purchasing should specify
By Yunhon Export Desk · Updated Aug 11, 2026
Volume (10 mL, 30 mL, and so on) is the easy part. The RFQ gets useful when you also name closure preferences, whether you need crimp vs other systems your line already validates, and if labels are part of the scope or applied downstream.
We see buyers copy a competitor’s SKU photo and ask for “the same.” Photos hide glass type, dimensional tolerances, and how the stopper seats. A sample closes that gap faster than a 20-message thread.
Freight cares about packed density and fragility, not your brand story. If you change from bulk trays to retail-ready display packs, expect the landed math to move. Tell us the pack style you need before we quote DDP as if it were naked vials in export trays.
Again: we supply packaging. Your quality unit decides fitness for a given filled product. We’re here to make the container predictable and the paperwork traceable.
