Custom vial labels for US facilities — what slows print down

Blank vials are easy. Labels are where timelines wobble. A PDF that looks fine on a laptop can still fail on a narrow wrap if the barcode sits too close to the edge or the white ink coverage isn’t called out.

What we ask for early: vector or high-res print-ready files, pantone notes if brand color matters, and a clear statement of mandatory text your QA wants on-pack. If your legal team is still rewriting a claim sentence, tell us — we’d rather hold the print plate than reprint 10,000 wraps.

Language mix (English only vs bilingual) should be decided before the sample that leadership will “approve by photo.” Photo approvals of soft proofs miss curl, adhesive lift, and scuff. Whenever you can, approve a physical labeled sample, then freeze. Changes after freeze are a new job, not a free tweak.

If you only need evaluation of glass and closure feel, say “blank is fine.” That alone can pull days out of the sample path.
